An article in the July 28, 2025, edition of the Asahi Shimbun featured our company’s initiatives as one of several Japanese firms aiming to contribute to Ukraine’s reconstruction.
The article highlighted our participation in the “Ukraine Reconstruction Conference (URC2025)” held in Rome, Italy, where we presented a concept for recycling war-generated rubble into plaster tiles.
This project originated from our volunteer experiences in areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and was born out of a desire to recycle debris not as mere waste, but as a resource with new value.
In the future, we aim to establish a production base in Ukraine, create local jobs—including for former soldiers injured in the war—and contribute to sustainable reconstruction. The article also covered support provided by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), as well as trends and challenges surrounding Japanese companies’ expansion into Ukraine.
