Although the surface will dry in about 24 hours, the plaster reacts with carbon dioxide in the air and hardens gradually over time, so be sure to pay attention to ventilation and room temperature control for about one week.
Proper ventilation and room temperature control help prevent surface sheen, color variations, and efflorescence (a whitish discoloration on the surface).

Maintain a room temperature of 10°C or higher until the plaster is dry Since a drop in temperature can delay drying and cause efflorescence and uneven color, manage the room temperature to keep it at 10°C or higher even at night after application. Also, be careful: if the room temperature drops below 5°C after application and the moisture in the plaster freezes, it may cause poor curing or peeling. |

Use an air conditioner to heat the room To prevent interference with the plaster’s drying process, it is recommended to heat the room with an air conditioner—which does not generate humidity—to maintain a consistent room temperature. However, be sure to avoid directing warm air directly onto the plaster. Additionally, using kerosene or wood-burning stoves for heating may cause soot and other particles to adhere to the plaster, potentially altering its color. |
