"Limix" is a next-generation ceramic material that is exceptionally environmentally friendly: thanks to proprietary 4,000-metric-ton press technology, it does not require "firing" at any stage from molding to manufacturing, and instead hardens by absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere.“Limix Tiles” are eco-friendly wall and floor tiles made using this Limix material. Thanks to this manufacturing process, they not only significantly reduce CO₂ emissions during production compared to conventional tiles but also continue to absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere even after installation. Furthermore, by combining different aggregates, unique designs can be created, enabling interiors that balance environmental performance with aesthetic appeal.
These shikkui products can be applied using a roller or spray, eliminating the need for specialized plastering skills and potentially shortening construction time.
