Product Specifications

Limix is a ceramic material formed by high-pressure pressing of plaster without firing. Since it does not involve a firing process, it significantly reduces CO₂ emissions during manufacturing and offers excellent environmental performance due to the effect of slaked lime, which absorbs CO₂ from the atmosphere as it hardens.Furthermore, since it is made from alkaline, porous plaster, it offers antibacterial properties and humidity-regulating capabilities. “Limix Tiles,” a representative product made from this ceramic, combine high design flexibility with marble-like strength and can be used on both floors and walls. It is a new type of material that harmonizes environmental sustainability with aesthetic beauty.

Installation Precautions

・Take great care to prevent condensation during installation, as it can cause efflorescence. Do not use protective sheeting if the joint has not dried sufficiently immediately after grouting, or when temperatures are high.

・After grouting, clean the area promptly and wipe it dry with a clean, dry towel or cloth. Residual grout may leave stains if not wiped away completely.

・For cutting, use a thin-bladed diamond cutter designed for marble.

・Remove the protective tape on the same day. Leaving it on may cause discoloration.

・Avoid acid cleaning, as it can cause discoloration. If cleaning is necessary, use a neutral detergent.
