Installation Precautions

・Since oil has been added, you can use it outdoors as is.

・Until it dries, the product is prone to absorbing dirt, so please be careful of dust and water splashes.

・Be sure to apply Shirokabe Sealer to soil-based surfaces or substrates that absorb water heavily.

・Use a metal trowel for troweling whenever possible; use a plastic trowel only for finishing.

・Efflorescence is more likely to occur in winter, so keep the area as warm as possible and avoid application when temperatures are below 5°C.

・Do not use on sand-based plaster.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.

What is the difference between this product and the powdered plaster in the "Castle Wall" series?

A.

The main differences are “maturity” and “weather resistance (suitability for exterior use).”Ancient plaster draws out its water retention and tenacity by allowing the raw materials to mature slowly. It sags minimally on-site, making it easy to apply, and it creates a sturdy plaster layer that is resistant to cracking, even when used for outdoor applications such as exterior walls and gate walls.
